Lessons
We offer 30 minute lessons for advanced beginners- intermediate riders ages 7 and up. We are conveniently located to I-78 and I-287.
Please note we have a lengthy waitlist for beginner riders of at least 2 years. We are not currently adding to this waitlist. Updated as of November 2024

Lease

We offer quarter and half leases.

We offer Full Care board only.
Separate Tack Room and tack lockers

Camp
Camp is offered for ages 7-12. Camp hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer 3 day and 5 day camp.
Dates for Summer 2025 will be released around January 2025.

Girl Scout Badge Program
Scout Badge programs are offered on Saturdays from 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Horse Fan Badge - Non Riding, learn basics of horse care. 90 minutes, $25 per scout
Horse Riding Badge - Horse care and a pony ride. 90 minutes, $35 per scout.

Birthday Parties
Birthday Parties offered Saturday afternoons from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. $400 for 2 hours.
We provide horses/ponies, tent, tables, and staff. Food and beverages to be provided by host family.

Kelli Steinkopf
Owner & Riding Instructor
Kelli was born and raised in Bedminster, NJ. She has been involved with horses since age 7, when she received her first pony for Christmas. Growing up, she was an active member in her local 4-H Horse Club and mounted Drill Team. While in 4-H she competed in Horse Judging and Horse Bowl and ranked 8th Nationally.
Kelli has local English and Western Championships and has worked with several local trainers. As an adult, Kelli was a 4-H Horse Club and Mounted Drill Team leader for several years.
Kelli opened Keystone Equestrian in October 2020, offering beginner and intermediate riding lessons. Today, Kelli runs a busy lesson program with her two daughters, Kayla and Lauren. Her favorite part of teaching lessons is watching students progress and gain confidence both on and off the horse.

Kayla Steinkopf
Riding Instructor & Admin
Kayla was born and raised in Bernardsville, NJ. She has been involved with horses since a young age, competing in her first show at the age of two and a half. She has a background in English and Western riding, and she participated in 4H mounted Drill Team. Kayla has placed both on the state level with 4H and was nationally ranked with the Palomino Horse Breeders of America.
Kayla got her first horse, Grace, at the age of 11 and now Grace is used in our lesson program.
Kayla graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Social Work. She worked in the staffing industry in Alabama, putting thousands of people to work before moving back to New Jersey in April 2021. Kayla loves seeing students grow their love and appreciation for horses every day.

Lauren Steinkopf
Riding instructor
Lauren was born and raised in Bernardsville, NJ. She has been riding for 16 years and has an extensive background in English and Western riding. Lauren worked as a full time groom with a two time Olympic Silver Medalist in Summer 2020 where she learned about horse care, fitness, maintenance, and health.
Lauren has been successful in the show ring, most recently getting reserve champion as well as multiple top 10 finishes at the 2019 NJ 4H State Championship Horse Show. As a youth, she also had multiple national top 10 placing in the Palomino Breeders of America Association.
Lauren is currently studying at Kean University, majoring in English. Lauren’s favorite thing about teaching is seeing students create bonds with horses as well as grow as horsemen and as riders.
